Any thoughts on the new album marketing stategy?

I'm still not sure what to fully think of it, but they're thinking on their feet very well. Do away with the old model, move forwards. It's not an issue of who's downloading illegally anymore - it's an issue of who can be bothered to take a notice of a band.

"Music is like water. You can bottle it up, market it and try to sell it, but the people will still choose the tap. Instead of selling people the bottle, give them the tap, and sell them the cup" - Matt/Romantech of Kurb Promotions.

Food for thought eh?
